Description

Emxicam Capsule contains Piroxicam 20 mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with various musculoskeletal and joint disorders.

Ankylosing spondylitis

Post-traumatic and post-operative pain

Mechanism of Action
Piroxicam works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis through cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme inhibition, thereby reducing pain, inflammation, and fever.

Dosage & Administration

Usual adult dose: 20 mg once daily or as directed by the physician.

Should be taken after food to reduce gastric irritation.
