KEMODOM CAPSULES (Omeprazole and Domperidone Capsules I.P.)

KEMODOM Capsules are a combination of Omeprazole and Domperidone, indicated for the management of acid-related disorders associated with nausea, vomiting, and gastric motility disturbances. Therapeutic Indications Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) Acid peptic disorders Functional dyspepsia Nausea and vomiting associated with gastric acidity Gastritis and reflux-related symptoms Mechanism of Action Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells. Domperidone is a dopamine (D₂) receptor antagonist that enhances gastrointestinal motility and provides anti-emetic action by increasing gastric emptying and reducing nausea. Dosage & Administration To be taken as directed by the physician. Preferably taken before meals, usually once daily. Capsules should be swallowed whole; do not crush or chew.
