Split Green Gram, commonly known as Moong Dal Chilka (with skin) or split moong, is a highly nutritious, flat, and quick-cooking lentil produced by splitting whole green mung beans. It retains its olive-green husk, which gives it a distinct earthy, nutty flavor and a higher dietary fiber content compared to fully skinned yellow moong dal.
