GAS LAB CO2 storage tanks are manufactured as per ASME Sec. VIII using a special low-temperature carbon steel. In addition, every vessel is subjected to a stress-free annealing process to avoid long-term stress corrosion. The CO2 storage vessel is equipped with all necessary connections for complete system operations. The tank is supplied with complete in-stage and final inspection certificates provided by international third-party inspection agencies like BVIS/TÜV/DNV/Lloyd’s Register. In-stage inspection reports including radiography (RT), hydro testing, material test certificates along with final release note are all part of the tank quality dossier. Other testing protocols are available at the customer’s request at extra cost. GAS LAB follows a philosophy of multi layered safety that is called Onion Control®.
The insulation of the tank is provided as per the customer's request: PUF or vacuum.

When polyurethane insulation (PUF) is used on the tank, the heat entry is dramatically reduced and the conversion of liquid CO2 into gas that creates pressure increase is extremely slow. The PUF insulated tanks are supplied with a refrigeration system to keep any pressure increase in check.
