Powder paint, or powder coating, is a type of dry finishing process applied as a free-flowing, dry powder to surfaces (mostly metal). Unlike conventional liquid paint, which uses an evaporating solvent, powder paint is applied electrostaticaly and cured under heat. This process creates a durable, high-quality, and environmentally friendly finish that is generally thicker and more resistant to scratches, corrosion, and chemicals than traditional paint.
