KEMOCID Capsules contain Omeprazole I.P. in gastro-resistant form, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used for the treatment of acid-related disorders by reducing gastric acid secretion. Therapeutic Indications Peptic ulcer disease (gastric & duodenal ulcers) Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) Erosive esophagitis Zollinger–Ellison syndrome Acid-related dyspepsia As part of combination therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication Mechanism of Action Omeprazole irreversibly inhibits the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, leading to effective and long-lasting suppression of gastric acid secretion. Dosage & Administration Dosage as prescribed by the physician. To be taken before meals, preferably in the morning. Capsules should be swallowed whole; do not crush or chew.
