EMADRYAL CAPSULES (Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Capsules I.P.)

EMADRYAL Capsules contain Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride I.P., a first-generation antihistamine with antiallergic and sedative properties. It is used for the symptomatic relief of allergic conditions and related symptoms. Therapeutic Indications Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) Urticaria and other allergic skin conditions Sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes Motion sickness and vertigo (as advised by physician) Short-term relief of insomnia due to its sedative effect Mechanism of Action Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride blocks H1 histamine receptors, thereby reducing allergic symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, and nasal discharge. Its central sedative action also helps in relieving cough and inducing sleep. Dosage & Administration Dosage to be taken as directed by the physician. Preferably taken after food. Precautions & Warnings May cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery. Use with caution in patients with glaucoma, asthma, prostate enlargement, or cardiovascular disease. Not recommended with alcohol or other CNS depressants.
