Photopolymer plates are light-sensitive printing plates—often called "solar plates"—that harden when exposed to UV light, creating a relief image for letterpress, flexography, and intaglio printing. They consist of a photopolymer resin coating on a metal or plastic base, allowing for high-detail, durable, and eco-friendly (water-soluble) plate creation without harsh chemicals.
